Lucha contra la deserción escolar: ´ la experiencia italiana de ”maestri di strada ”

La desercion escolar es un fenómeno complejo que se deriva de un cúmulo de factores externos e internos al sistema educativo y del deterioro del v´ınculo entre los jovenes, la escuela y la sociedad. En Italia donde la desercion expl´ıcita e impl´ıcita supera el 20% y en algunas areas el 30%-periódicamente se implementan en el sistema escolar algunas medidas correctivaspara contrarrestar el fenomeno, sin alterar, sin embargo, un ´funcionamiento que produce estructuralmente desercion, yconvalida la selección del sistema social. En Nápoles, la Asociacion sin fines de lucro Maestri di Strada (MdS-Maestros de la calle), planifica e implementa intervenciones para contrastar el abandono escolar, centrandose en la construcción de una comunidad local educativa, en la reflexividad profesional y en el arteducacion. El paradigma elegido es el de una educación débil, que no tiene como objetivo producir aprendizajes, habilidades e identidades predeterminadas, sino favorecer la subjetivacion de los jovenes, despertando en ellos el deseo de devenir adultos responsables.
