Congenital diaphragmatic hernia is a severe malformation with bad neonatal prognosis is often associated with genetic abnormalities and malformations in other systems, for this reason, once diagnosed, is launched a study protocol with the primary objective of discard and evaluate prognostic factors. The management options available today include termination of pregnancy, prenatal expectant management with postnatal treatment and fetal therapy. Available results vary by type of publication, our report is a case to mediate surgical operation accompanied by high frequency oscillatory ventilation as initial conduct and no rescue, with favorable results and decrease complications in a level III center of attention in the city of Neiva, Huila (Colombia)
