Amebic lung abscess
Absceso pulmonar amebiano

Amebiasis is common in countries like Colombia, but lung is hardly affected. Here it is reported the case of a patient with primary amebic lung abscess, which required handling with nitroimidazole derivatives and surgical procedure for diagnosis and treatment of the disease. After this, a satisfactory recovery was seen in the patient.
