Equality, gender, and Constitution in Egypt

The topic of gender equality in the Arab Republic of Egypt is addressed in the present reflective article from a constitutional perspective, with an analytical and descriptive focus, based initially on the explanation of the Charia figure. The author precisely analyzes the context of gender equality, starting from the normativity regarding civil registration and gender identity, personal autonomy, sexuality and integrity of the human body, the right to equality in the family, professional, public, and public space spheres, to finally establish conclusions centered on the obligation of gender equality from constitutional precepts.
