Peer Review Process

The manuscript would be sent to the Research Center of Law Faculty, Piélagus Journal Editorial, by a magnetic way or to the email pielagus@usco.edu.co

Once the manuscript is submitted, the Editorial board will verify that the article fits with the requirements of the journal in the next ten (10) working days and will evaluate the theme’s pertinence. After that, the article will be sent to experts (double blind peer review) with the highest academic level and recognition in the topic and they will be external to the institution.

The experts’ evaluation will be given to the editorial board in a term not to exceed 4 weeks.

The evaluator’s comments must conclude with one of the next recommendations:

• To publish without changes.
• To publish after making corrections.
• Reformulate it according to the suggestions made.
• Rejected.

The suggestions, corrections, or rejection decisions will be communicated to the author, who would object the evaluation or who will proceed to attend to the recommendations in a term not to exceed the thirty (30) following days.

The objections to the evaluation will be analyzed and solved by the editorial board in a term not to exceed the fifteen (15) following working days.
