Worldwide multiple manufacturing processes are associated with an environmental cost, from the point of view of producing until the end of the product or service's useful life cycle. The current production system is based on a linear concept, which encompasses 3 main aspects: produce, use and throw away. The linear model characterizes because, in it, companies produce goods and services, consumers use and consume them, companies produce new products and services, consumers stop using those that have become old or they break down and buy new ones. With the ever-increasing entry of new technology and the increase in purchasing power and investment facilities, these cycles and/or lines are shorter and produce a large environmental footprint.
