Abstract
This article identifies the tools of Operations and Production Management (tOPM): production management, research of operations, industrial safety, human talent management, costs, building distribution, industrial maintenance, among others; that use the carbonated materials processing companies, in the northwestern part of the deparment of Huila. The study involved the diagnosis of a total of 12 companies of this mining sector, in order to recognize the tools and programs they implement, as well as deficiencies in production processes, development and applicability of the operating and productive tools or strategies. This evaluation will give appropriate information such as: inventory management, programming of maintenance plans, implementation of sciences of industrial engineering, it will favor processes, improving resource managament in social, economic, technical and political benefit in the mining materials processing companies.
