Permeability Predictions for Application of Hydraulic Conductivity (HC) Model in Hydrocarbon Producing Formation
##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
This article discusses on the characterization and determination of permeability for a hydrocarbon producing formations through off the application of methods hydraulic flow units (HFU) and hydraulic conductivity (HC), from the collection and subsequent analysis of spontaneous potential, gamma ray, neutronic porosity, and density porosity logs (Camargo, 2008) and data achieved trough cores, to which was characterized lithologically hydraulic conductivity units (HCU) with their respective regression coefficients and facies groups they belong to each unit after this, proceed to calculate the maximum effective hydraulic diameter of the pore (dHMAX), then deploy the application and validation of the íteraüve method of Gauss-Newton to obtain the actual parameters “a” and “b”, belonging to each hydraulic unit and establish values of permeability for hydrocarbon producing formation.
