Design and Implementation of an Electrical Survey Device to ObtainWaterReservoirsProfiles Diseño e implementación de un dispositivo de registros eléctricos para perfilaje de reservorios acuíferos

Abstract

This article shows the development of an electric survey system to obtain Resistivity and Self Potential profiles. In order to achieve the objective, a card of data acquisition was constructed based on the PIC18F4550, preceded of a signal conditioner to guarantee the quality of the measures. Universal Serial Bus USB was used like interface with the PC, and a software for plotting, processing and of the collected data was designed, based in Labview. The tests of the device, during their development, were realized in real wells, obtaining the electrical registries in the south of Colombia.
