Reading "De los judíos of the history of Colombia" by Daniel Mesa Bernal, many, and very impressive, conclusions can be drawn about the origin of our idiosyncrasies, and about the will to shut up everything, which seems to be below the mentality that we carry on our backs. For example, that Colombian life, and Latin American in general, lacks a story that tells who we were, why we came and live here, and what has moved us to believe and not in our poor nations, in the political and restricted sense, but in what we are, that is, in these many beings that we love and hate.
