Approach to the Paideia Surcolombiana's history

Abstract

Paideia?... She was a young lady who had not turned  to 18 years old, for that reason, she has not reached the legal age; she was tender and demure like the cactus' flower; her eyes a fresh green eyes; his youthful vigor is the source of all the illusions. 

But, in the beginning it was not like that. Although she was born of high rank-Faculty Council his first appearance, in 1988, she was very weak; she almost did notborn, although she was already baptized and although it was wanted to present it in society with the theme of fashion for that time: "The quality of education in the Surcolombiana University", "... the answer was cold: only one work appeared " It symbolized the same university crisis. Therefore, the Dean Guebelly came to say almost poetically: "The Faculty of Education has no one to write to you, so much is your loneliness!". Paradoxically, she saw the light with articles that were not written for her, but for a Journal  before her; that is, she dressed in the clothes of his sister that she never knew. But, she was born! And at birth she was alive, and the life he already had, like all Heraclitean reality, was dialectical; that is to say, she carried within herself the necessary candle to ignite passions as she grew. In its first edition, five thousand words were used; in his last, more than fifty thousand terms; initially few bet, now she shines with its own light.
