Surcolombiana university has defined a matrix of great strategy or theory of change focused on the articulation of academic projects to the study and solution of the relevant problems of integral, equitable and sustainable development of the region and the country; administrative decentralization and academic integration; the association with universities of academic excellence and scientific research and development centers and the expansion of the portfolio of Teaching, Research and Extension services.
