Approach and scope

The REPL represents a multi-methodological possibility for the comprehension and self-understanding of knowledge and the construction of pluritopically dialogic knowledge. The word Studies leads us to overcome the explicit borders of what social disciplines have traditionally defined as an object of study and places us in the understanding of emerging psychosocial problems. The Psychosocial stance suggests an epistemological, methodological, ethical and political choice to "not look at people as separate entities (individuals), but in relationships with their living environment, with others, with the community, and at the same time look at the community as a whole that is related to its contextual, regional environment, with other communities and with its individual members "(Villa, 2012, p.357), that is, in personal-community analytic-nature relationship based on a psychopolitical validity. (Prillenstinsky, 2003). Finally, the conception of the Latin American, which frames the socio-cultural, economic, political warp that situates, entangles and establishes an interpretive framework for discussion and analysis of contemporary psychosocial problems.

The journal will have an annual periodicity and is aimed at the entire community interested in approaching the production of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge and disciplinary experiences in the study of phenomena from a psychosocial perspective.

Peer evaluation process
To begin the evaluation of an article, certification of the originality of the document is required. The editorial committee refers the article to expert peers; if the evaluation is favorable and decides to accept it, the concept of "Accepted", "Accepted with recommendations" or "Not accepted" is communicated and notified to the authors. In case of being accepted with recommendations, the authors make the suggested adjustments and re-send them. In all cases the editorial committee decides the final acceptance for its publication. The works to which adjustments must be made, must be sent to the magazine again at a time determined by the Editorial Committee and the peers (depending on the case) to finally decide on its publication.

The works to be published must be presented to the editorial committee complying with all the required criteria. The expert pairs will be, who will act as evaluators of the articles and will carry out the review process maintaining the anonymity and under the modality "double blind".

Frequency of publication
The journal will have an annual periodicity.
