Ecofeminism: a dialogue between violence against women and the violation of planet Earth

Thinking about equal rights and opportunities for all without distinction of gender has led some feminist movements to the conception that the gender that has always been dominated, subjugated and alienated should now be the dominator or the oppressor. However, as recognized from the texts, dissertations and critical analysis of feminist authors and leaders, feminism advocates an encounter with the other, based on the principle of otherness, allowing to establish that diversity is the greatest strength of the human species, and not, overcoming oppression and the abolition of rights historically. In this sense, the feminist movement links to its practices and formative actions, the critical analysis of social, environmental, cultural, economic and political phenomena of the feminist movement to the conception that, the gender that has always been dominated, subjugated and alienated should now be the dominator or oppressor.
