Abstract

Preamble



The evaluation of linguistic policies -with their corresponding plans-, the language economy and the glotopolitics among many others, constitute the most appropriate frame of reference for understanding how the national language policy and its respective consequences in terms of language teaching can to be compared in terms of budget allocation and resource allocation, in other words, is to speak in terms of efficiency, competitiveness and foresight. This relationship would directly affect the configuration, for example, of the pedagogical projects of the Faculties, the role of the foreign language that is imposed, as it is the case of English not only in front of other languages ​​but in front of the Spanish because the argumentation that justifies its teaching / learning lies more in the fact of the net wage differentials that come from the management of this language and the social prestige of the person who handles it than from the consideration of linguistic aspects that characterize the regional social reality.n
