Abstract

The results which are evident in this article are intended to show a different way to strengthen the spatial thinking in eighth grade students from San Jeronimo Emiliani School, because the learning process observed in the classrooms has been developed in a traditional method. It leads the student to have the concept just for a period, putting the skill they have aside to apply those concepts in a specific context.


According to that, it is important to contextualize the knowledges that a student learns in the classroom, to he or she gets an appropriate learning of those concepts and this way they can identify and apply them in their own professional development. For this it is necessary to use to different strategies and didactic material (Bornimago) for making easy for them to comprehend concepts, to build figures and geometrical structures. It results that the students get the knowledge and can do a successful use of it.
