Abstract

The regulation of international migratory movements is one of the foremost concerns of contemporary states. Its purpose is to prevent illegal immigration into a specific territory to, on one hand, avoid increasing the financial burden on the state in the realm of social security, and on the other hand, to avoid creating wage competition due to the increase in unskilled labor.
