Education school in february 1991 to february 1995

Abstract

This period begins with the challenge of organizing and carrying out the VIII Meeting of Faculties of Education of the Colombian Southwest, held between March 29 and 31, 1991; attended by about a hundred representatives of Faculties of Education and Teacher Training Institutions, who praised the good organization and the seriousness of their conclusions, recognizing the warm affection and the careful attention received during their stay at the University.
The Faculty of Education guided the development of a Development Plan, based on a participatory process and was intended to promote curricular proposals and a pedagogical model that responded to the current demands of the
regional and national reality; The first projects of reforms to the Faculties of Education were presented at that time; projects led by the ICFES, as well as the formation of the first institutional commissions in order to work on a proposal for academic-administrative restructuring of the Surcolombiana University; These principles of changes at a national and institutional level, led the Faculty to stop at its development plan, pending the guidelines laid down, both nationally and institutionally.
