Abstract

When people talk about dreams made through the visual arts, our memory brings to mind the works of European and Latin American artists who have worked within the veristic tendency of Surrealism; that is, those works that we can associate with elements and beings from our surrounding world. Such is the case of Salvador Dalí, Rene Magritte, Paul Delvaux, Max Ernest, Maria Izquierdo, Frida Kahlo, Mercedes Varo, Leonora Carrington, Leonor Fini or the Huilenian painter Filomeno Hernández.
